RWC 2025
We are very pleased to be able to offer stipends to support students who wish to attend RWC 2025. The general fund for RWC stipends is provided from the generous support from our sponsors and a fund set up from a donation by Eric Rescorla. The funds will be administered by our Scholarship Secretary, Douglas Stebila.
We strongly encourage women and members of other historically under-represented groups to request support.
The application process is a two-part process, which requires the submission of an application by the student and statement of support by the supervisor. An application is not considered complete unless both are submitted. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure their supervisor fills out the supervisor form; the submission form will not contact or remind the supervisor.

Requests can be made after December 15th, but they will not be considered until after the initial support decisions are made.
Applicants should be aware that we do not usually fund all of an awardees attendance costs. Thus an applicant is likely to also need to supplement the funds from other sources.
The award will usually cover the cost of registration, and a limited amount of travel and hotel costs. The exact amount being dependent on the rough distance from Sofia of the applicant. Stipends will be paid out after the conference as a reimbursement of travel expenses, and receipts will be required. More information about the reimbursement process will be provided closer to the conference date.
